Lalique

René Lalique (French, 1860-1945) was famnous for his glass objets d’art. After initially designing artistic glass perfume bottles Lalique went on to open his own glass factory in Combs-la-Ville, France in 1913. Glass creations by Lalique (especially ones with the ‘R’ before the Lalique name) are very desirable. Lalique produced a range of glass art in the form of vases, car mascots, paperweights, statuettes and other ornamental glass pieces all of which are all highly collectable and sought after today.
