About GUILLAUME COUSTOU 1677-1746
Guillaume Coustou is famous for his marble horse statues called ‘Horse restrained by a Groom’, more commonly known as the Marly Horses. Coustou was a member of the sculptures’ French dynasty. He studied at the French Academy of Painting and sculpture and also studied in Rome.
