Four framed Minton’s tiles by Moyr Smith of various themes…
For sale are these late 1800s Mintons tiles designed by John Moyr Smith. Each tile depicts a themed scene:-
1 x Lilla Saving Edwin
1 x Alfred In The Danish camp
1 x Canute
1 x Harolds Oath To William
The tiles each have a wireframe that doubles for hanging on the wall. All the tiles are in good condition with only some slight glaze nibbles to edges and one of two very small minor chips (not noticeable). It’s a really great set of four antique decorative wall tiles from a famous company and designer.
