This sale is for a pair of antique hand-carved wooden Chinese monk figures with bone inlays for eyes and teeth. As a matching pair both statues have a staff in one arm and prayer beads in the other.
Chinese Statues Condition:
There is significant damage to both statues but it does not detract from their solidness. Each statue has a crack appearing in the centre of the front and rising up, with one statue having smaller cracks and a missing eye piece. This is reflected in the price.
