Here we have a superb antique 3-draw telescope with a leather-bound main body, protective eyepiece and adjustable lens. On the body of the telescope is the name Barton, The Strand, London. The lens end unscrews allowing for various strength other lenses to be added. The eyepiece has a slidable brass cap protector that one can close when not in use. The telescope extends easily and smoothly into a 3-draw length. It’s a lovely antique viewing, possibly nautical use intended, telescope.
