Made by Charles Henry, King Street, Manchester this lovely Victorian leather-bound stationery box has been well used and shows wear to the outside (view images). The inside of the box is like a tardis offering several compartments as well as a leather writing pad. A further compartment is revealed when you lift out the interior of the box. Some of the compartments are lined with original green velvet. This is a very nice antique stationery box that probably belonged to someone in the civil service or a well-to-do person.
