This pair of ornately decorated London flintlock pistols both offer working firing mechanisms…
This sale is for a pair of antique flintlock pistols (possibly reproduction late 19th century early 20th century). The lock bearing the LONDON mark. The firing mechanisms offer two load settings and when the pistols are fully cocked and you press the trigger the mechanism fires cleanly. I am unable to say whether these two flintlocks can actually work as they are untested. They are both being sold as decorative military antiques. Both have ornate metalwork with intricate designs. Silver coloured metal around the butt of each handled brass motif style decoration on the sides of each pistol. The long barrels have ornate designs and the wood parts of the flintlocks have both ensign and grip style carvings.
