Description
A collectable antique silver Sixpence of King George II, dated 1758. The obverse features the old laureate bust facing left, and noticeably, the young lion’s face to the shoulder armour (can be just made out). The reverse shows crowned cruciform shields of Royal arms, with plain angles, representing England and Scotland, France and Ireland. A very nice example of this 270-year old silver coin. Very Fine Plus Condition.
