Description
For sale is this very-fine King William silver sixpence dated 1696 (320 years old). The obverse: first laureate draped bust of William, facing right. Legend: ‘GVLIELMVS · III · DEI · GRA’ (no stop after ‘GRA’). Reverse Crowned cruciform shields, large crowns, Lion of Nassau at centre, early harp in Irish arms, date either side of the top crown. A fine+ example.
